Beattock to Abington today, all 20 long miles of it. The weather was grey and windy and the walk was uninspiring to say the least!

If I painted it and watched it dry, I may be more inspired! |
Following the success of my previous walks I've decided to set the bar a little higher and will be walking 1,200 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats in aid of Liverpool Unites - a charity with a target to reach £500k for Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Keep up with the walk, all my news and learn some stuff through this blog.

I've been up the M74 on several occasions to meet up with our Michael in Helensburgh - as you say it'a fairly unremarkable area, and that's zooming through on a fast road, so the monotony of the B roads must be ten times worse. Keep on thinking about those heather clad highlands and some tasty haggis.
Cheers for now
